We often think about detoxifying our bodies, but how often do we think about detoxifying our homes?
Did you know that we are constantly exposed to hundreds of toxins and chemicals that can affect our nervous, endocrine, and respiratory system? The Cleveland clinic compiled some of the chemicals found in products with which we routinely come into contact.
Join me as we have a conversation about our environment and our health – how it was meant to be, how it has deteriorated, and what we can do to navigate our way to a cleaner home environment (indoors and outdoors) and better health.
This two-part session will cover some of the basics and discuss simple practices to incorporate into our routine to keep chemicals at bay with cleaner alternatives.
Session I: In the Beginning
Sunday – August 27, 2017
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
God calls us to be good stewards. Managing His creation is a holistic way to consider the responsibility handed down to us by the Creator. In this session, we will travel back to the first chapter of Genesis to increase our understanding of our role in the newly created earth and beyond.
Session II: Detoxifying our Homes
Sunday – September 24, 2017
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
We spend a large amount of time in our homes. Research suggests that indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air. In this session, we will look at how to reduce indoor pollution for cleaner air and to avoid exposure to toxic substances.
